Why sleep changes as we age?

Sleep is a beautiful thing. It is a state of altered consciousness when your brain is still hard at work! It is a vital physiological necessity. It’s during sleep that your body recovers, your immune system fights off infection, and cognitive functions are consolidated, namely memory.
