Everyday we’re bombarded with a vast amount of new information–whether it’s in the news, social media, the radio, at work, etc. It is amazing how easily we can process and retain most of it!

Not surprisingly, our brain decides what information to keep (i.e. what it finds relevant) and what not to bother with, but unfortunately, sometimes our brain can’t be bother to keep any information at all!

Nowadays we are constantly bombarded with all sorts of stimuli (i.e. any stressor, thing or event that evokes a nervous response), from ads on TV, to noise pollution, to your kids running and screaming around the house, to who will be the next president of the United States, and why is the dollar so low in value, and oil prices still so high, and, and, and….
