Makes 2 glasses

  • a strand of saffron
  • ½ a litre of soybean milk
  • 1 tsp of liquid honey


Place saffron in a small quantity of cold milk and mix until it is almost completely absorbed.
Warm the rest of the milk, remove from heat and add liquid honey. Stir until the honey is dissolved. Add milk with saffron, mix well and let infuse for a minute. Serve in heat resistant glasses and serve with a delicious oatmeal cookie!

In the Mediterranean, saffron is considered to be a very mysterious spice. It is very costly and must be taken with moderation due to its intense colour and unique taste.

The stimulating action of this particular milk comes from safranal and crocin. When combined with the phytoestrogens contained in the soybean milk, it produces a stimulating effect on the general hormonal system. This beverage has also become a natural remedy and is useful for a healthy sex life, for women as well as for men!
