  • 4 large onions
  • 25 g mushrooms
  • 1 tsp fines herbs
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • To taste Herbamare® Sodium-free
  • 25 g butter


Boil whole peeled onions for 10 minutes.  The onions should be cooked but firm.  Finely chop mushrooms add to chopped herbs and breadcrumbs and season with Herbamare® Sodium-free. 

In a separate pan, melt butter, add shopped ingredients to pan and mix.  Carve out the center of each onion and stuff with mushroom mixture.  Place stuffed onions in a baking pan, cover with aluminum foil and bake at 200oC for about 1 hour.
