Summer is on the way, and many of us want to show our smooth, varicose vein-free legs. Varicose veins are formed by enlarged blood vessels in the legs, right under the skin’s surface. They are the result of damage to the venous valves, whose function is to prevent excessive accumulation of blood in a specific region. When they malfunction, venous pressure increases, which leads to a transfer of liquid into the surrounding tissues, swelling, heaviness, fatigue and leg pain.

Teeth do not need to be perfectly straight: slight imperfections lend an individual charm of their own. A big smile that reveals a lot of spaces left by missing teeth, however, is only cute on a six year old.

We have all heard that popularity has its down side. Arnica was a victim of its well-known effectiveness to soothe inflammatory pain. The stock of Arnica has been drastically reduced over the years by excessive wild collection and as a result, the plant must be protected.

For A.Vogel, using Arnica as a raw material was acceptable only if cultivated sustainably and organically. Experts shook their heads in disbelief as the rare mountain plant, Arnica montana, had so far resisted all attempts at cultivation. Could the experts be wrong?
