Crohn’s disease, are you at risk?

Crohn’s disease (sometimes also referred to as Crohn Disease) is a lifelong disease that impacts one in 1 in 50 Canadians, making Canada one of the countries with the highest rates of people living with Crohn’s in the world. It affects men and women equally, can happen to people across ethnicities and races, and happens to people of all ages (though most diagnoses occur before 30).

In spite of the high number of people living with Crohn’s disease (and other gastrointestinal ailments), public awareness is low.
