Ingredients

The Green Goddess salad

  • ⅓ head of green cabbage, diced into small cubes
  • 1 english cucumber, diced into small cubes
  • 1 cube of smoked tofu or plain firm tofu, diced
  • 1 tbs liquid coconut aminos or tamari
  • 1-3 small cloves of garlic
  • Herbamare® Original to taste
  • ½ shallot
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 tbs lemon juice
  • 2 tbs apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup water
  • Small handful of raw almonds

Herbamare® Original

Herbamare® Original is made from sea salt and 12 different fresh organically grown vegetables, garden herbs and iodine rich kelp. It is a delicious accompaniment to any meal.

How to make The Green Goddess salad

1. In your salad bowl, mix cabbage and cucumber.

2. In a small bowl, mix tofu and liquid aminos. Add to a pan with a dash of coconut oil and cook for 3 min over medium heat.

3. Add tofu to the salad bowl.

4. For dressing, mix all the remaining ingredients in a blender and mix till a smooth texture is obtained.

5. Pour over the salad and mix until all covered. Serve as is or eat with crackers or in a wrap!

“So good! I'm not a tofu fan, but diced chicken was a great substitute. The original recipe is awesome, but you can easily tweak this recipe to your tastes and have a slightly different salad every time. ”
