Pasta Arrimante

Here’s a delicious dish to include in your menu this week! This recipe is all the rage with my family ... an explosion of flavour in a meal that is both healthy and satisfying.

Pasta Arrimante

  • 1 lb pennine or fusilli
  • 1/2 broccoli or cauliflower, in florets
  • 3 tomatoes chopped or 15 cherry tomatoes cut in 2 or 1 tbsp of tomato paste
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 pitted black olives, halved
  • 1/2 tsp chilli, dried, crushed
  • 4 tbsp of white wine
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Herbamare Original, pepper to taste
  • Parmesan, to taste

Herbamare® Original

Herbamare® Original is made from sea salt and 12 different fresh organically grown vegetables, garden herbs and iodine rich kelp. It is a delicious accompaniment to any meal.

How to make Pasta Arrimante

1. Cook the pasta (al dente) according to the instructions on the package.

2. Meanwhile, heat the oil over medium heat. Brown the garlic and crushed pepper.

3. Add the broccoli florets and olives. Sauté for a few minutes, making sure the broccoli is tender but crunchy.

4. Deglaze with white wine and reduce.

5. Add the tomatoes, season with Herbamare and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.

6. Add the vegetables to the pasta and mix.

7. Sprinkle with Parmesan and serve.
