Strawberry jam is one of my favourites, and this recipe is gluten-free and contains no artificial sugar or sweeteners; not only that but it is very quick and easy to make.

Strawberry Jam

  • 5 cups fresh strawberries
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 6 tbsp chai seeds
  • 8 tbsp water

Full of Goodness

  • Very high in Vitamin C
  • Rich in dietary fibre
  • A good source of potassium

Strawberries are high in vitamin C which is great for boosting the immune system and strengthening eye health. The dietary fibre also helps to regulate bowel movements.

How to make Strawberry Jam

1. Soak the chai seeds in the water for 10 minutes or until all the water has been absorbed. This is what adds thickness to the jam.

2. Blend the strawberries, honey and soaked chai seeds at high speed until the desired consistency. If it is too thick add more water, and if it is too thin increase the amount of soaked chai seeds.
