For those susceptible to inflammation (ex. arthritis), the nightshade family contains compounds that can increase inflammation levels.
If you have no signs of inflammation there is no need for you to avoid those foods and for those who suffer from inflammation, they should eliminate those foods and see if their inflammation will decrease.
Continue to avoid if you see changes but otherwise there is no need to keep it up. Test it for 2 months before deciding.
