  • 2 tbsp FCP olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Natur® tamari sauce
  • 2 tbsp + 2 tsp red wine vinegar
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 3 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp granulated cane sugar
  • 454 g (1 pound) firm tofu, cut into pieces (1.5 cm x 4 cm)


In a container, combine all the ingredients except the tofu. Add the tofu and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 to 5 hours. Turn the tofu a few times.

Lightly oil a baking sheet with FCP olive oil. Lay the tofu pieces on the baking sheet and bake, turning a few times, for about 5 minutes each side.

The marinade can be used as a sauce for rice, couscous, millet, quinoa, steamed vegetables or another side dish. Serve hot or cold. Can be eaten cold in a sandwich or as a snack with crudités.
