  • 4 chicken breasts (deboned)
  • 2 onions
  • 1 cm ginger
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • A pinch chili pepper
  • 6 cloves
  • 2 cardamom seeds
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • ¼ tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • A pinch saffron
  • 500 g plain yogurt
  • 1-2 tsp Natur® safflower oil
  • 1 tsp Herbamare® Original


Cut the chicken into small cubes. Mince the onion and ginger. Crush and finely chop the garlic. Cut the tomato into small quarters.

In a pot, brown the mustard seeds, cloves and cardamom in oil (2 minutes). Add the onion, garlic, ginger, chili pepper and cinnamon. Brown the pieces of chicken.

In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, turmeric, saffron and Herbamare®. Pour this mixture into the pot. Add the tomatoes.

Cover and cook over low heat for 45 minutes.
