Sherry Torkos is a pharmacist, author, and health enthusiast with a passion for prevention. Sherry graduated with honors from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1992. Since that time she has been practicing holistic pharmacy in the Niagara region of Ontario. Jean-Yves Dionne is a pharmacist, speaker, writer and scientific advisor and natural health products consultant. He is a regular lecturer at Université Laval and Université de Montréal. Andy Suter is head of the medical department and responsible for new product developments at A.Vogel Bioforce AG in Roggwil Switzerland. He is a frequent lecturer at congresses, universities and the Swiss Medical Society for Phytotherapy. He has organised and carried out more than 20 clinical studies on phytomedicines and lead several research projects for a better understanding of the modes of action of phytomedicines with various universities. He has authored or co-authored more than 40 peer reviewed publications on phytotherapeutical research mainly in the fields of immunology (respiratory tract infections), urology, menopausal disorders and rheumatology. His keen interest are to figure out modes of actions and the clinical efficacy and safety of A.Vogel products and to bring new product innovations to the markets.
He holds a M.Sc. in biology from the University of Zurich in Switzerland and phD in natural sciences from the University College of London (UCL). And a degree in further education from in innovation management from the University of Applied Sciences, St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Josée Fortin, biochemist and A.Vogel expert
Josée Fortin has a degree in Biochemistry from University of Ottawa and is a member of the Association des naturopathes agréés du Québec (ANAQ).
She has over 21 years of experience in the field of naturopathy and gives talks on a range of holistic health topics at natural product stores.
On top of answering consumers’ questions, Josée has been responsible for training staff at Bioforce Canada and Bioforce USA for over 10 years.
In her role as a health specialist, Josée also represents these two companies by contributing to TV and radio programs. She is also part of the team at Centre Quintessens in Gatineau.
Dr. Dominique Vanier, ND, MEnvSc
Dr. Dominique Vanier, ND is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor and a certified sports nutritionist of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN). She currently works at The Centre for Sport and Recreation Medicine, a busy multi-disciplinary clinic in Toronto, Ontario.
Dominique is a general practitioner with experience and clinical focus on pain management, musculoskeletal conditions, athletic performance, and chronic and complex disease. Dominique graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, where she obtained a four-year post-graduate Doctor of Naturopathy (N.D.), during which she completed a 12-month clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic. She is in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario and a member of both the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
Dominique has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Environmental Chemistry from Queen's University and a Master of Environmental Science (M.Env.Sc.) from the University of Toronto. She has been a consultant for various organizations in the health industry, including A. Vogel/ Bioforce Canada and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and employs a strong knowledge of policy and government having worked as a Senior Policy Advisor for the Ontario provincial government in her former career. Dominique is also a certified personal trainer.
