What should I do if my PSA level is 6?

Your doctor may recommend that you redo a PSA test to confirm the initial result. A PSA level of 6 is not a cause for concern, but it’s best to monitor its progress. Exercising intensely, consuming alcohol and having sex are activities that may affect the results if they occur too close to your blood tests. Immediate action is required once the PSA level is over 10.
