Crispy Chickpeas Recipe

The texture of these baked chickpeas is surprisingly crispy/crunchy. They are a tasty and healthy snack.

Crispy chickpeas

  • 1 can (540 mL) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon of Herbamare® Zesty
  • 2 tablespoons of olive or vegetable oil

  • A good source of vitamin K

The iron, phosphate, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc and vitamin K content present in chickpeas all contribute to building and maintaining bone structure and strength. Because of their high-fiber content, chickpeas help to prevent constipation and promote regularity for a healthy digestive tract.

How to make Crispy chickpeas

1. Preheat the oven to 400˚F.

2. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well.

3. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 35–40 minutes or until nicely browned, stirring every 10 minutes.
